COVID-19 Update
Concerning COVID-19, we as a church are claiming Psalm 91 to protect us from this pestilence that walketh in darkness (Psalm 91:6) - to protect us individually and as families in our homes - that no plague would come nigh thy dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We are trusting Him and seeking wisdom, and we are not living in fear; “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
Governor Abbott has issued a new executive order concerning COVID-19 and churches. He has stated that churches are to remain open but continue practicing safety precautions. As of Friday, May 1, 2020, we will resume services per usual. We will not have Sunday School. Church service begins at 11 am, and we will meet again at 6 pm for evening service. We urge you to use precaution and be aware of your specific situation.

You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you:
Do
Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze
Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell
Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell

Touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean
Psalm 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
