Since 1991, we have simply preached the Bible as it is, to men as they are.
Statement of Faith
The Scriptures
The Bible is the plenary, verbally inspired Word of God. The King James Bible is the complete, preserved Words of God for man and is infallible, impeccable, eternal and the final authority in the universe. All other versions of the Bible are not the Bible but perversions.
The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the written Word of God, and the supreme and sole authority of the Christian faith and practice. No other writings, experiences or traditions of any kind are inspired by God and will not be followed as such. Furthermore, the Bible was given to be understood by all and therefore it is to interpreted literally. Where symbols or figures are made obvious from the context, then they will interpreted in a manner consistent with other scripture.
The Nature of God
The only true and living God is the Tri-une God, eternally existing the "three are one", Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Father is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, the Creator and Ruler of all things. The Son is the manifestation of the Father and the Word of God made flesh. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, equally divine and eternal with the Father, and is also the Son of Man, truly human, yet without sin. The Holy Spirit is third person of the God head and is one with the Father and the Son. His work is to glorify God in Christ, to testify of Christ and to convict men of sin, righteousness and judgment and draw them to Christ and grant repentance and faith, regenerating them into a new creature. God is a holy, righteous, sinless God that hates sin and judges it. He is also love and would have men to be saved through simple faith in Christ.
The Nature of Man
Man, because of sin is totally depraved in his sin nature. There is not one good thing a lost man can do. Through Adam, all have sinned and inherited the sin nature. Men are conceived in sin and transgressors from the womb. They are born fools and rebels against God. Because of sin, man is guilty before God and under condemnation. The end result without Christ is hell fire and suffering under the lake of fire forever.
The Law of Moses
The law is good and holy according to the writings of Paul. It teaches the morality of almighty God. The holy days, new moons and feasts and all ordinances were nailed to the cross. Man cannot be saved by the keeping of the law, but the law is a school master to bring us to Christ.
The Work of Christ
The eternal Word of God became flesh and the person of Jesus of Nazareth, who was born of the virgin Mary by the miraculous conception and virgin birth. He lived a sinless life, fulfilling all of the Messianic prophecies and living the law to the jot and the tittle. He did the will of the Father, and died on the cross, shedding His precious blood, in full substitution and atonement for the sins of the world. He was buried, preached to the spirits in prison for three days and then rose bodily. He was seen of men and angels then went to heaven and sprinkled His blood on the mercy seat. He sat down at the right hand of the Father and continually makes intercession for each believer.
Salvation
Man is utterly unable to save himself from the power and penalty of sin. Each person must be saved wholly on the basis of the finished work of Jesus Christ and be born again into the Kingdom of God. Salvation is through simple faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and trusting Him as Savior.
Sin must be repented of in order to be saved. Repentance and faith are two sides of the same coin. There is no such thing as “easy believism”. Salvation cost God His only Son. It is impossible to be saved by works or the keeping of the law. Upon faith in Christ, the sinner is regenerated and his body becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit. Because salvation is from God, once a person is saved they are always saved. Justification, Sanctification and Glorification is all from God.
A changed life is the true evidence of salvation. Love for God, His Word, His people and His church will be manifested upon true salvation.
The Church
The true Church consists of all who have been saved and are a part of the body of Christ. The local church is composed of those members of the body who live logistically in the area and serve God through the local church.
The church is overseen by the Pastor or Bishop, who feeds and watches over its affairs. The members of the church are to be faithful to the services, bearing one another’s burdens, exercising their spiritual gifts for the edification of the body and to seek to win the lost through organized soulwinning efforts.
There are two ordinances of the local church; baptism and the Lord’s supper. Both of these have nothing to do with salvation, but are testimonies and visible signs of what has already taken place invisibly in the Spirit. This church is open communion as the Bible teaches that every man must examine himself.
Spiritual Gifts
The spiritual gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12 -14 no longer exist. Those gifts were signs to the Jews, to convince them to believe on Christ. The complete, written Word of God now replaces those gifts and meets every need of the believer. The only gifts that still exist are listed in Romans 12. God has not changed and He is a miracle working God, but the so-called charismatic gifts of the spirit such as tongues are long gone.
Separation From the World
The church is a called out assembly. We should not act, dress or look like the world. We should have high standards of hair, dress, association, etc… that glorifies God. All leaders in the church should set an example.
The Promised Return of Christ
When the church age is finished, Christ will call the church to meet Him in the air. The 70th week of Daniel will begin when the Anti-Christ is revealed, and the tribulation begins. After seven years, Jesus will return with the armies of heaven to fight the battle of Armageddon. He will then establish his throne in Jerusalem and rule and reign for one thousand years on earth (millennium).
The Last Things
The lost of the ages will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment. They, death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire. The church will live forever with Christ in the New Jerusalem.
